The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description
Painter Kimberly Santini is exploring her life long and often irrational love for horses via paintings of the most spiritual of them, the Medicine Hat. Paintings are done in acrylics on panel, often with hints and dollops of metallic gold, bronze and copper.
About Kimberly Santini
First and foremost, I am a Mom. This means I have eyes in the back of my head, spot on intuition, the patience of a saint and mountains of compassion. I am also a painter. I am asked at least once a week, “why do you paint?” Despite the frequency of this question, I have yet to come up with a particularly brilliant answer. I simply paint, because like breathing, I must. Painting is my career. It is how I help to support my family. It is how I give back to my community. It is also how I maintain my sanity.
